SkillUp 8.0 celebrated Akwa Ibom @35 with a free 5 day digital skills training for the community in Uyo.
Participants learned computer appreciation, Canva design, social media management, video editing and graphic design, all free of charge. Free training matters because it removes the biggest barrier many people face, which is cost. The turnout was massive, and the impact was remarkable.
Many participants used their new skills right away to boost their careers and their businesses. Many of them are still doing well with those skills today.
